Championship Shows

The Northern Championship Show is held in the beautiful surroundings of Hurworth Community Centre, Hurworth, Nr Darlington, DL2 2BN

This is a wonderful venue, which enables the society to have a very large outdoor ring and indoor wet weather accomodation, should it be required.

The ring is spacious for the exhibitors and provides plenty viewing for spectators.

The Championship show is held each year, Mid June.

We hold a 28 Class show, for which there is prize money for 1st -3rd in each class

The society is known for its wide selection of judges, catering for all tastes. Including long standing breed specialist, 1st time CC judges both breed and all rounders, and well respected all rounders. And not forgetting the overseas judges.

Refreshments are available throughout the show, from bacon baps, Ice creams and wonderful homemade cakes

Also on hand at the show is an excellent photographer, for those formal poses or just a lovely photo for the mantle piece. Many of his photos have been used for the breed yearbook
